Maxfields
Maxfields is a family restaurant and bar owned by the Hazen family since 45 years. We will host our welcome drinks and various programming throughout the weekend.
The top two floor so Maxfields host the main CABIN art studios and gathering spaces.

Ray’s Antiques
Local antique shop presenting a single painting as part of the CABIN village-wide exhibition.

SCANLONS
Historic factory building housing part of CABIN’s artist studios. Within the factory, 3 spaces will host exhibitions for the weekend, including the historic office and apartments on the second floor.

CABIN Books & Wine (25 Market St)
CABIN will provide space for art books and art supplies, as well as a small exhibition program featuring work by the current artists-in-residence. The space will collaborate with local partners to develop cultural programming and serve as the public-facing component of the residency.

WILD ASSEMBLY
A new storefront opening by CABIN founder aimed to be a vehicle to connect to the local nature. WILD ASSEMBLY will host experiences i for the artists and offer a storefront with quality goods for experiencing the natural world.
4)
THE ARLINGTON
The historic hotel has been a centerpiece of Potsdam since 1888. Future plans include redeveloping the hotel to support a robust visitation program for artists. During the weekend, three rooms within the hotel will host exhibitions.
5)
Trinity Episcopal Church
Sandstone church built in 1885. Inside, a few paintings will be displayed from the CABIN Residency.
6)
Munter Trail
A beautiful trail through the Racquette River. Along the way you will find an installation by CABIN Artist in Residence Brooklynn Golinvaux.
